New Integration for Pinterest

Welcome, Pinterest! This week, we're bringing you a long-awaited integration to one of the most popular image-based social networks.

If you're a Pinterest marketer, you know the power that it has. With this integration, you'll be able to track the growth of your Pinterest accounts, monitor new pins, and track engagements. Let's take a look at a more in-depth look at what you can do with Pinterest, and how you can integrate it with your AgencyAnalytics dashboard.

Integrate Pinterest with AgencyAnalytics

First up, navigate to the campaign that you want to integrate Pinterest with and click 'Integrations' in the left fly-out menu. Then, simply click Pinterest and follow the short steps from there.

Pinterest Insights and Feed

The first screen that you will be met with once you integrate Pinterest is this one:

You'll see the total number of followers that your account has, as well as followers over time. This will give you insight into how the account is performing, and allow you to attribute peaks and valleys in data to certain events.

Below that will report on the number of saves, impressions, and engagements that the account has had overall. Again, this will display data on a daily basis.

Next, if you head over to the 'Feed' tab located at the top of the dashboard, you will see a list of the Pins from the account, in descending data order.

Pinterest Metrics and Filters

With our integration comes important Pinterest metrics that you can report on, naturally. When you create your Pinterest or social dashboards, you can add widgets in the forms of stats, line charts, bar charts, pie charts, and tables.

The data that you can include in these visualizations are:

  • Clickthrough rates

  • Closeup rates

  • # of clickthroughs

  • # of closeups

  • Engagement rates

  • Impressions

  • Average video watch time

  • Comments

  • Saves

If you're looking for how best to set up your dashboard for easy, visual reporting, take a look at our 'How To Build A Social Media Dashboard For Clients' blog.

With our Pinterest filters, you can dig deeper into your data to glean further segmented insights. To do this, simply click the filters button underneath the date range on your dashboard.
